Jessica Lardizabal is a fashion model who has participated in Chicago fashion Week, Asian Chicago Fashion Week, and Rahab’s Daughters “Stopping Traffic” among many others. She was one of Fashion Bar’s Model of Excellence Recipients and has since then strutted many runway shows. As of this year, she was a contestant on Miss Illinois USA 2021 promoting health, wellness, and creativity.
Jessica has traveled extensively because of her father’s service in the military for 30 years. She came to Illinois in 2015, graduated cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2018, and obtained her school nursing certification at Illinois State University in 2020.
When she is not strutting the runway, you can find her working with children as a school nurse or coaching for students at John Robert Powers. She has been an extra on ChicagoMed and looks forward to working on future projects in film, continuing her fashion career, authoring a children’s book, and furthering her education in psychiatric nursing to inspire youth around her in hopes that they explore their multifaceted passions.
