This is how you can practice Your Craft at home: Singers and Dancers edition

We know this year has forced us to spend way too much time in the comfort of our own home… the good news for artists is… you can practice your craft anywhere!

While it may not be as fun or engaging as attending a class in person, or learning in the same space as your peers, there are many resources that are easily accessible and can make learning from home more enjoyable!

Practice new vocal warmups

There are so many great vocal warmups that are accessible online!

Try a new one every week and keep doing the ones you like and that work for you!

Trying new warm-ups is a great way to use your instrument in unique ways that you haven’t tried before.

You can find some new warm-ups here and here.

Work on your stage presence

Study free online concerts of some of your favorite celebrities and notice what you like about their movement on stage and how they use different techniques to engage the crowd.

Practice for your family and friends and get feedback on what they enjoyed and felt connected to during your performance, or what they feel could be improved upon.
